Experience
I've spent more than 20 years building software platforms and the teams behind them, most of it in agriculture. These days most of my attention goes to AI and agentic systems, AI-native software development, developer platforms, and cloud architecture built to scale.
Today I'm VP, Software Engineering at Vylor, where I lead the teams applying AI-native software engineering to the future of seed and genetics.
Before that, at Corteva Agriscience, I led Architecture & Foundational Infrastructure for R&D, which covered the compute, data, and ML platforms behind research in seed, biotechnology, and chemistry. I also led the rollout of Claude Code across its engineering and data science teams. Earlier at Corteva, I led product development for Farming Solutions & Digital, including the successful pivot of our SaaS business.
At Granular, I led Platform Engineering, then served as Senior Director of Engineering and Principal Architect. We moved the platform to AWS, got to shipping to production multiple times a day, and built out the architecture practice.
At DuPont Pioneer, I was the first engineer on Encirca, the company's digital agriculture venture. I built both the platform and the engineering team from the ground up, then owned its cloud architecture as it scaled.
I started in banking and financial services, building CRM solutions at Principal Financial Group and card processing systems at Wells Fargo.
I'm also a co-founder and board member of The Math Agency.
I'm a builder at heart. I like writing code, building teams, applying AI to real problems, and starting things from zero.
